Todd Paddock (Sociology) is an Assistant Professor in the Sociology Department at Winona State University. He has a Ph.D. in Sociology from Indiana University (2001) and an MS in Communication from Cornell (1994). His Ph.D. minor was in Gender Studies. He worked as an environmental writer for the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia before entering graduate school. His research interests include social studies of science, environmental issues, and community. He loves to fish and he and his wife Sue Eckerson spend a lot of time outdoors. The Mississippi River and the Center for Mississippi River Studies are examples of why Todd is very happy to be in Winona, Minnesota and at Winona State University.
