Darrell Downs

Darrell Downs (Political Science) has his Ph.D. in Political Science from Colorado State University, 1992; his M.S. in Resource Geography, Oregon State University, 1985; B.A. Political Science, Montana State University, 1982; B.S. Earth Science, Montana State University, 1982.

He is Faculty Senate Co-chair, and is on the MSU Faculty Association Government Relations Committee. His teaching areas include American Government & Public Policy, Environmental Policy, Public Administration & Public Service. His research interests include water politics, Three Gorges Dam, Yangtze River, China, and public lands management. When not teaching or conducting research, Professor downs enjoys fishing, kayaking, and annoying librarians.
